I own nothing.  This is a request for invader-monkey-12(Anna in the story).  She has been the inspiration for many a slashy fic and I hope she enjoys this one!

WARNING!  SLASH AHOY!  Some kissing between boys.

Bee is Bumblebee.
Yes, I am lazy.  Deal with it!

*********************************************
(Sam)

Sam fell out of bed as his alarm went off.

'Why am I using that?  It's summer.  OH!  Right!  I have to meet Mikaela!' Sam thought as he threw on a light brown t-shirt, a pair of navy jeans, and sandals before bolting out the door to see Bee already waiting for him.

"Hi, Bee!  Sorry it took so long!" Sam shouted as he ran over to the Camaro Autobot and got inside quickly.

Bee started up and headed for the lake where Sam was supposed to meet Mikaela.  On the way there, it began to rain and by the time they reached the lake it was pouring.

Sam lept out of Bee and told him to go and park somewhere dry.  He would find the Camaro after speaking with Mikaela.

Bee didn't budge, but instead shifted to park.

Sam smiled at him and ran towards the tree that was presently sheltering his girlfriend.

"Hey, Mika.  What did you want?" Sam asked once he reached her.

"Sam, these past three weeks have been the best of my life.  I think you're a really great guy, but I need to be able to see other guys, too," she explained.

"What?  Why?  I thought you loved me," Sam spoke, confused.

"I did, but then I saw Jed.  He's just dreamy.  He asked me out and I said yes.  Sorry, Sam.  You're just not the one," Mikaela clarified.

"No, I'm not.  You know what?  Forget it.  It's over.  I never want to see your sorry face again!  I was wrong when I said there was more to you!  You're exactly what you look like!  A fucking whore!" Sam shouted at Mikaela.

"Can we still be friends?" she asked.

"With or without benefits!?" Sam shrieked.

"Can I get a ride home?" that was the last straw.

Sam spun around and pushed Mikaela down before turning and running over to Bee.  He slid in the mud near the Autobot and hit his head on the concrete.

Bee transformed and lifted Sam up, asking if he was alright.  He said that he was fucking peachy.

Bee put Sam down and transformed back into a Camaro before letting Sam in.

"What is wrong, Sam?" Bee asked, his voice filled with concern.

"Mikaela dumped me.  She said that I wasn't the one.  She dumped me for Jed, the guy who is literally dumber than a rock.  Unfortunately, today's society is just too superficial to understand that if the guy thinks that a forum is what two and two equals, he just isn't worth it.  She's such a bitch!" Sam shouted as he let his head fall into his hands as he sobbed.

"You always have us.  We do not care what you look like.  You are our friend," Bee said as sincerely as he could.

Sam didn't respond.

"Sam?" Bee asked.  No response.  "Sam!?" he tried again, a little louder than the first time.  Still nothing.

Bee stopped.  He pulled the seat belt out from under Sam and was faced with an unconscious human.

Bee buckled Sam in and sped toward the Autobot's home.

Bee reached the large, two story building (High ceilings.  They are VERY tall) and rushed inside, shouting for Ratchet.

The yellow mech was nowhere to be found, but in his place was a very annoyed Jazz.

"What is you shoutin' for, Bee?" he asked before grumbling about beauty recharging.

"Sam's hurt!  I don't know what to do!" Bee shouted worriedly.

This got Jazz's attention.  Every one of the Autobots knew about Jazz's love and admiration for the human.  They would never tell the human, but they would tease Jazz about it until either he snapped and started throwing things, or Optimus told them that that was enough, or both, usually.

"Let me see.  I've been studying some of the human's biology and I at least know the basics.  What happened?" Jazz asked before Bee opened his door and Jazz took the human out.

Bee explained about the mud and how Sam hit his head, but didn't mention Mikaela.

"He's got a concussion.  It's pretty bad, too.  I think we should keep him here for a few days so Ratch and me can keep watch over him.  These things can turn very nasty.  Plenty of humans have died from concussions that weren't even this bad.  Let's just hope Sam's strong," Jazz explained as Bee transformed out of his Camaro form.

"And why should we hope that Sam is strong, Jazz?" Optimus asked as he descended the stairs and strode over to the other two Mechs.

"He has a concussion, Optimus.  They kill hundreds of humans each year.  If left unattended, they can also cause permanent damage and Sam has a pretty bad one.  He'll be okay as eludicated. as someone watches over his vitals and keeps him cool," Jazz elucidated.

"Very well.  He may stay here.  Jazz, take care of him, please," Optimus requested.

"Yes, sir," Jazz agreed as he headed upstairs to an extra room.

He opened the door to a large room, though it was a comfortable size for an Autobot, and laid Sam on the giant bed in the corner.  He left the room to get some ice and returned to see Sam on his side, facing away from the door, silently sobbing.

"Sam?" Jazz asked.

Sam's small form was shaking in sorrow.  He didn't even acknowledge Jazz's presence.

"Sam?  What's wrong?" Jazz tried again.

This time, Sam sat up and turned toward the worried Autobot.

"Why don't you ask Mikaela?" Sam retorted much harsher than he had intended.

"What did she do?  I swear!  I'll kill her if she did this!" Jazz shouted, anger rising.

Sam chuckled humorlessly. "She never liked me.  She just thought you guys were cool, which I admit is true.  She used me.  She never gave a shit about what I felt.  She dumped me."

Jazz froze. 'That bitch!  She doesn't know what she lost.  She has no idea what some would give to have what she had!  She treated him like trash!  She always did!  I never liked her to begin with!  How dare she hurt him!  I'll kill her!  I'll kill her!  I'll kill her!'

Sam brought his knees to his face and wrapped his arms around his shins before letting his head fall forward and crying harder.

It hurt Jazz to see his friend like this, hopeless and upset.  He wanted nothing more than to comfort the human, but he didn't know how.  He wished he was human.

Sam hated being seen like this.  He knew he looked weak and his pride was hurt.

Optimus knocked on the door and entered.

"Sam, are you functional?" he asked, gazing at the tear stains on the human's face.

"Yeah, sure.  I guess," Sam answered.

"May I ask why your tearducts are in use?" Optimus inquired.

"She left me," Sam replied.

"Who?" he questioned.

No response.

"Jazz, what is Sam talking about?" Optimus turned to his second in command in hope of an explanation.

Jazz looked at Sam for a sign.  Sam shrugged and put his head back on his knees.

"Sir, the bitch Mikaela dumped Sam for some idiot.  Sam's upset because he loved her and she used him.  She never actually liked him, she just wanted to be able to say she was friends with the Autobots.  Now Sam's pissed off at her and needs some time to sort things out," Jazz told his leader.

"Sam, is this true?" Optimus asked almost skeptically.

"Yes.  She is an untruthful, unfaithful bitch!" Sam shouted at no one in particular.

Optimus walked slowly over to Sam and placed a hand around him before gently lifting him up.

"I WILL speak with her.  For now, though, I want you to rest and keep your body temperature down.  Don't do anything that could cause you stress.  Watch the TV, channel 5.  I think you'll see something interesting very soon," Optimus almost laughed the last part out.

Putting Sam down, he turned to Jazz. "Watch over him.  Make sure he stays awake for at least three more hours.  The last thing we need is for him to fall unconscious again," he commanded.

"Yes, sir," Jazz agreed.

With that, Optimus left and Sam asked to watch the news to see what he had meant.

Jazz turned on the big plasme screen TV and changed the channel to 5.

A young woman was seen at a desk, a picture of Optimus fighting Megatron with Sam on the ground between them to her upper right.

"Recently, the governments of the world have decided to thank the Autobots for protecting Earth from certain doom.  The Autobots are permitted to live by their own rules as long as no civilians are harmed.  These laws are as of now passed and active for all of America and many other countries.  News staff are to refrain from mentioning the Autobots in a negative way, although, between you and me, with a chest like that, who's going to want to?  They are to be treated with the utmost respect.  Please, Autobots, if you are watching this, accept our thanks.  We are extremely grateful for your help and are honored to have you staying with us in America," she concluded before the show went to comercial.

"Geeze!  You guys have no idea what you're in for.  The Paparazzi won't leave you alone.  Get ready to see yourself everywhere.  If I know the companies of America like I do, they'll be selling everything from action figures to posters to video games.  Oh, and you'll be questioned about your lives before Earth, about what you think of Earth and anything else that can be turned into a book, newspaper article, or other sellable item.  Good luck, dude," Sam laughed pityingly.

"I'll get used to it, though I think Ratch might blow a few gaskets.  He hates attention.  I do wonder what Optimus has in mind for Mikaela, though," Jazz said thoughtfully.

Suddenly, the Channel Five News came back on with the same woman standing outside on top of the building.

"We have a special opportunity today to get the amazing leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime!" the woman shouted as the camera turned to get a look at said leader.

"Now, Optimus, do you mind if I just call you that?" she asked.  Optimus assured her that it was fine. "There is a certain lady out there that you wanted to talk to, who is she?"

"Her name is Mikaela Banes.  I would just like to say thank you," he stated.

"Now, what exactly are you thanking her for?  Is it personal?" the lady pried.

"No, in fact, I think that all human couples should hear this. Thank you, Mikaela.  Because you broke up with Sam, he did not watch where he was going and is now in critical condition with a concussion.  I hope you're proud of yourself, because you're the only one," Optimus said solemnly.

"Wow.  The teen couple voted most likely to end up married has ended.  Tell me, Optimus, where do you stand on this?  Do you think her reasons were justifiable?  Do you think Sam will be able to recover both mentally and physically?" she badgered.

"I think that her reason for hurting him was awful, as was her reason for joining him.  The only reason she was 'with him', as you humans say, is for the ability to say that she was close friends with us, my team and me.  In hurting him, she has done the exact opposite and ade herself enemy number one for the Autobots.  She left him for a boy who, according to Sam, believes the Roman Forum is two plus two.  I am positive he will recover physically after much rest, but I can't say anything about his mental state.  I know too little of the humans mind.  After all, I was sure that Sam would abandon Bumblebee once he was captured, but instead he fought valiantly to protect him until he was let go of.  You humans continue to amaze us all," Optimus explained.

"Wow, I bet Mikaela is about to blow it big time!" Sam laughed.

"She did deserve that.  I hope she was watching," Jazz agreed.

"Well, thank you, Optimus, for this wonderful interview.  Now, we have a few e-mails from fans to be read.  Would you like to stay and hear them?" she inquired.

"Sure. I would enjoy that very much," Optimus replied.

"This one is from May Nolan, age 10.  Dear Optimus, Thank you for saving Earth!  Good job beating up Megadork!  Love, May.  P.S. My sis wants you to marry her.  Well, I think someone is unhappy with the quality of her family!" she laughed.

"You're welcome, May.  Megadork?  I must admit, you are very creative.  As for your sister, how does Saturday sound?  I'm driving." Optimus laughed.

"Oh, my!  Can I come along?  Ha, ha!  Now, this is from Gabby Mercero, age 7.  Dear Autobots, You rock!  Thank you for saving the Earth!  Hey, Bumblebee!  Get well soon!  Lots of love, Gabs.  Isn't that sweet?" she cooed.

"Thank you, Gabby.  Bumblebee has been fully repaired thanks to our capable medic, Ratchet," Optimus explained.

"Well, that's good news for everyone.  Now, we have time for one more e-mail.  Oh, my!  It seems this one is from Anna Nolan, age 25!  Dear Optimus, Your fighting style is unique and amazing.  It is simple yet refined.  You are incredible!  BTW, Saturday sounds great.  Well, it looks like someone is a fast typer!" she shouted joyously.

"See you then, Anna!  Thank you for the comments on my fighting.  It took years to get that right.  How does the Providence sound?" Optimus laughed.

"Well, Optimus, thank you so much for visiting.  This is Ramona Robinson with Optimus Prime on the scene," she said before a bunch of commercials came on.

"Wow.  I wonder what that Mercury girl is doing right now?" Sam asked.

"Oh, probably screaming about getting a date with Optimus.  Wait until he gets back.  He'll tell us all about getting his first date in years," Jazz chuckled.

"I can't wait..." Sam said sarcastically.

"Bee should be back soon.  He just went to dry off.  He said he wanted to tell you something.  Wonder what?" Jazz thought out loud.

There were three knocks at the door before it opened to reveal Bee.

"May I speak with Sam alone?" he asked.

"Sure, Bee," Jazz spoke as he walked out the door.

"Um, Sam?" Bee began.

"Yeah?" Sam answered.

"I am not fully aware of your human ways, but I was wondering if you would consider-"Bee was cut off by Jazz.

"Going out on a date with me.  I was thinking the Lava Lounge.  What do you-" Jazz was cut off by Bee who had finally gotten back his composure.

"Think of the lake?  They're having a fireworks festival.  There will be music, too.  It doesn't have to be a-"

"Date if you don't want it to be!  It could just be, you know a cool-"

"Experience for just the two of us!  What do you say, Sam?  Do you want to go out with me-"

"Or me?" Jazz finished.

Sam was taken back.  Never had two people fought over him.  He considered his options.  He though Bee was cute, but they were just friends.  But Jazz was very demanding.  This would be difficult.

"Sorry, Bee.  I see you as more of a brother than, well, you know.  Jazz, please don't torture Bee about this.  When do you want to go?" Sam asked.

"How does Saturday sound?  I'll pick you up at eight, okay?" Jazz looked ecstatic.

Bee looked very upset.  He was glad that Sam was honest with him, but he just wished that for once, someone would love him.

"I'm going for a walk, guys.  Be back in a while," Bee said dejectedly as he left the room and headed downstairs.

"I feel sorry for him.  Hey, Sam?" Jazz started.

"Yeah?" Sam answered.

"What do you think of me?  Be totally honest," Jazz directed.

"Honest?  Oh, gosh.  Well, being totally honest, I've liked you since I first met you.  There was something that just felt right about you.  In all honesty, Jazz, I love you," Sam finished as he stared at his hands like they were singing show tunes.

Jazz lifted Sam up to his face.

"I love you, too, Sam," Jazz confessed.

Sam pressed his lips up against Jazz's.

It was amazing!  It felt like the world had melted away and only they existed.  Heat and passion radiated off their lips, filling their world with joy and wonder.

They broke apart and Jazz asked, "What will we tell the others?"

"We'll tell them the truth and deal with the consequences together," Sam decided.

Outside the window, Bumblebee watched before turning and walking down the street.

He had almost given up on finding someone who loved him until he heard a small voice.

"Hey, mister Bumblebee?  Did you see me letter to you on the news?  I'm happy you're okay.  My name's Gabby," said the small voice coming from at tiny girl with pale skin and curly golden hair.  She smiled up at Bee and hugged his leg as tightly as she could.

Bee had discovered love.

"I told you he'd Bee fine!" Sam laughed, showing Jazz the view through the window of Bee picking up the small girl and putting her on his shoulder before heading for the lake.

"Yeah.  Now, where were we?" Jazz asked, running a finger up Sam's shirt.

"I think I know," Sam replied, licking the gentle hand.
