Turning slowly, I watched him walk away from our leader.  I had never seen him so angry.

Bumblebee had disobeyed Optimus and had, in turn, been put in lockdown.  He was not permitted to leave his room.

I followed him and knocked on his door a few minutes after he disappeared behind it.

"Optimus, unless you're armed with an apology, you might as well save your breath," Bee shouted through the thick steel door of his room.

"And what if I'm not Optimus?" I asked, grinning.

"Jazz?  Go away.  I'm not in the mood to hear you mocking me," Bee stated angrily.

"Well, then, you should let me in.  I want to talk, not to make fun of you," I retorted.

Bee did not reply, so I opened the door cautiously and walked in to see Bee laying on his bed, glaring at the ceiling as if it had caused him some irreversible damage to his spark.

"Bee?  I just wanted to say that I disagree with Optimus.  I think what you did was brave and you should be honored, not punished," I spoke softly as I approached his shaking body.  He was crying.

(Now, this is the part of the story where you begin to wonder what the hell he did.  Well, na, naw, na, naw, boo, boo!  I'm not gonna tell you!  *is mauled by angered fangirls*

Alright!  I'll tell you!  Just, not yet.)

"I was just trying to help.  I did not wish to see Optimus get hurt," Bee cried.

It hurt me to see him like this.  I sat on the edge of his bunk and pulled his small form to my chest, whispering that he was unjustly punished, but that he did the right thing.  He did what none of us were brave enough to do.

He followed his spark.

Bee shifted his position in my arms so that he was leaning his helm against my shoulder.  I felt my spark leap at the feeling of him getting comfortable on me.

"I know, Bee.  I know.  It's not fair.  You only did what was right, but sometimes, you know, things just don't work out right," I stated, gently stroking between his door wings.

You see, Bumblebee was being punished for disobeying a direct order from Optimus Prime.  He had been ordered to stay at the base and wait for reinforcements to arrive to assist in the Decepticon attack for revenge, but when Optimus left, Bee followed him.  When Optimus arrived at the attack site, he was quickly overthrown by Starscream, Barricade, and Frenzy.  Bee saw this and took care of Barricade and Frenzy to ensure Optimus's safety.  Afterwards, Bee was put into lockdown because Optimu-

My train of thought, as the humans say, was quickly stopped by a vocal transmitter upon my own.

I had heard Sam speaking of how wonderful it felt to be 'kissed', but I must say that I never imagined how sensual it actually felt.

I broke away to see Bee gazing at me with loving optics.  I had always thought that his optics were the most beautiful.

"Jazz, I would like to ask if you would allow me the honor of being your bonded?" he asked, looking straight into my optical receptors.

"Of course," I replied.

A bonded is very similar to your human marriage.  The only difference is that a bond is never broken.  It is the most sacred of all our capabilities as Cybertronians.  Once two 'bots are bonded, they will always know what te other needs.  They will put the other's needs before anything else.  It is how they complete each other.

Bee opened his spark chamber and I opened mine.  We reached out for each other's spark and as the circuit was completed, I felt a surge of energy coursing through me.  It was as though my nerve receptors were on fire, but it did not hurt so much as enthrall me.  It was amazingly simple, but more complicated than I really have the patients to explain.

As we broke apart, Bee pushed his vocal transmitter to mine, 'kissing' me again, only this time, as bonded.

Suddenly, an alarm went off.

I turned to Bee who merely shrugged and told me to 'go get 'em, tiger,'

I laughed at the human reference and told him that when I got back, he and I would have some unfinished business to attend to.

I ran off, faintly hearing Bee stating that being imprisoned wasn't such a bad thing.
Sorry about its' all around crappieness! I haven't been attacked by plot bunnies in forever!
